A care routine starts with the exact manual
Cleaning and storage depend on material and construction. A generic routine should never override the manufacturer’s directions for the model.
Read the complete construction
Identify the contact surface, motor, seams, charging port and any removable parts. A nonporous material does not make every assembled device immersible or boil-safe. Find explicit cleaning and drying instructions before choosing a method or product.
Make ownership practical
Follow the specified charging and storage directions. Keep items dry as instructed and protect them from damage. Check compatibility before combining a lubricant, barrier or cleaning product. More aggressive cleaning is not automatically better and can damage a construction not designed for it.
Inspect and respond
Look for cracks, peeling, surface changes and damaged electrical parts. Stop using a damaged item and ask the manufacturer about service or replacement. Care cannot guarantee indefinite lifespan or prevent every reaction. Seek qualified advice for symptoms that persist or worry you.

Before you decide
Can I follow the actual manual consistently without borrowing a routine from a different material or device?
